Who we are

This website (collective-memory.be) is run by the band Collective Memory XL. Questions about this policy or your data: barrrchoque@gmail.com.

What we collect

We keep it minimal. Visitors don't need an account, and we don't use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. The band, show and photo information on this site is our own content, not visitor data.

  • Server logs. Our hosting provider automatically records technical details of each request (IP address, pages requested, browser type, time) to keep the site running and secure.
  • Technical cookies. The site may set a cookie that is strictly needed for it to work (for example to show you an error message). These do not identify you or track you across sites.
  • Fonts from Google. The site loads its fonts from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google's servers and your IP address is shared with Google when a page loads.
  • Videos. Some clips are embedded from YouTube (using its privacy-enhanced youtube-nocookie.com address). When such a clip is on the page, your browser connects to Google's servers, and your IP address is shared with Google.
  • Mailing list. The sign-up form on the home page is not active yet and does not store anything.

Where your data is processed

The site is hosted on Render and its database on Neon, both in the Frankfurt (EU) region. Both are service providers that process data on our behalf.

How long we keep it

Server logs are kept by the hosting provider only for as long as it retains them for operation and security. We do not build profiles from them and we do not sell or share data for marketing.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask us for access to, correction of, or deletion of personal data we hold about you, and object to how it is used. Email us and we'll respond as soon as we can. You can also lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority at gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit.be.

Changes

If we add features that collect data (such as the mailing list), we'll update this page first.
